Upon the recommendation of the Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola has appointed Dr. Tajudeen Adewale Odetayo (FCA, FCIB) as the 6th Substantive Rector of the Institution. Dr. Odetayo, is a Chief Lecturer in the Accountancy Department and the immediate past Deputy Rector of the Institution. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is also a member of Nigeria Institute of Taxation. He has about 24 Journal publications, 10 Conference Papers and 6 books to his credit.
